About the art:
"I've been fortunate enough to have been an official Style Guide artist for Lucasfilm for 29 years, so given the chance to do a piece of whatever I want, I'll always love going back to our original three heroes and the film that started the legacy. While doing research for my work on The Book of Boba Fett series, I fell in love (again) with Ralph McQuarrie and Joe Johnston's concept drawings and all the creators back then. That research cemented an idea I already had in my head. A Han, Luke and Leia piece that would reflect "hope" as well as pay homage to our Forever Princess Leia, our General and most importantly, Carrie. A strong woman, a strong character, a strong role model." - Steve Anderson
About the artist:
Steve Anderson has been an official Star Wars artist for Lucasfilm since 1993. For Lucasfilm and the Disney publisher he's created licensed artwork for 10 of the Star Wars movies, The Clone Wars series, Star Wars: Rebels, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, the Indiana Jones movies and Frozen. The style guide art goes to licensees for use on merchandise sold in over 100 countries. Cover artist on numerous Random House book covers including Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. His work for Hasbro Games is on game box tops, game boards, action figure packaging and puzzles. In the 90s during his eleven years as a designer at Hallmark Cards, Steve created their first Star Wars puzzles, calendars and gift wraps. Steve also does extra and stand-in work on tv and movies.
