Acme/Dark Ink Announces Art Events for April 26th - ALIEN DAY!

Acme Archives is teaming up with Fox Consumer Products to launch three new art events taking place on 4/26 ALIEN DAY

Twentieth Century FOX Consumer Products has announced an out-of-this-world global celebration of the ALIEN franchise culminating with a special 24 hour, fan-focused social media event on April 26th – a nod to LV-426, the planet from the iconic ALIEN films. ALIEN DAY (#AlienDay426) will encompass a wide range of executions including nationwide screenings, never-before-seen consumer product activations and the kickoff of the ALIEN: Ultimate Trivia Challenge, allowing fans to test their ALIEN knowledge – with the chance to win memorable prizes every 42.6 minutes on Twitter. – In partnership with Acme Archives, Bottleneck Gallery in New York will be celebrating with an exclusive Alien print from artist Laurent Durieux which will be available at a special screening of Alien taking place at Syndicated BK. A metal variant of Laurent Durieux’s Alien print will also be auctioned off to support a local animal rescue and adoption organization.

Galerie F, a Chicago based art gallery, in collaboration with Acme Archives will host a large show of originals and prints in the heart of Chicago’s thriving arts district; Logan Square.

– The Acme team will be in Burbank at a pop-up event hosted by the collectibles gallery, Blast From the Past. There will be new releases by a number of Acme’s artists as well as a preview of new sculptures from Sideshow Collectibles.
